1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use HL Event Circle, we may collect:

• Account information, including your email address and account identifier.
• Event workspace information, including the event name, date, location, participant names, team-member names, tasks, program items, music choices, vendor details, and notes you choose to enter.
• Payment-related records, including payment status, transaction identifiers, and limited purchase information. Full payment-card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by HL Event Circle.
• Support communications you send to us.
• Basic technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as browser, device, sign-in, and error information that may be processed by our service providers.

2. How we use information

We may use information to:

• Create and maintain your account and event workspace.
• Provide invitation links and the planning features you request.
• Process and confirm payments.
• Provide customer support and respond to questions.
• Protect the service, investigate misuse, and prevent fraud.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and resolve disputes.

3. Service providers

HL Event Circle uses third-party providers to operate the service, including Firebase for account and database services, Stripe for payment processing, and a web-hosting provider. These providers may process information only as needed to perform their services and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

4. Information you share through invitations

Event owners may create invitation links for trusted team members or vendors. Anyone who receives a valid link may be able to view the information allowed by that link. You are responsible for sharing invitation links only with people you trust and for disabling or replacing a link when you believe it has been shared improperly.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

HL Event Circle and its service providers may use essential cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember necessary settings, protect the service, and provide core functionality. HL Event Circle does not currently use the service for third-party behavioral advertising.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not a consistent industry standard for responding to these signals, HL Event Circle does not currently respond to them.

7. Data retention and deletion requests

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business and payment records, protect the platform, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@hleventcircle.com. Some information may be retained when required by law or for legitimate security, fraud prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. However, no website, database, or method of Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep your password private and share invitation links carefully.

9. Children’s privacy

HL Event Circle is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to the service.

10. Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or by email when appropriate.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and capable of entering into a binding agreement to purchase and manage an event workspace.

2. The service

HL Event Circle provides digital tools for organizing event participants, team members, assigned tasks, an event program, music, vendors, and related coordination details. The service is an organization and coordination tool. It is not a professional event-planning, legal, financial, or vendor-booking service.

3. Accounts and passwords

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and all activity performed through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the information and content you enter. You give HL Event Circle a limited permission to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, maintain, protect, and support the service. You are responsible for having the right to enter and share information about other people.

5. Invitation links and team access

You are responsible for deciding who receives invitation links. Invited people do not need an HL Event Circle account and may access the information or tools permitted by their link. Do not publish invitation links publicly. HL Event Circle is not responsible for access caused by a link that you or an invited person shared with someone else.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or harmful purposes.
• Upload content that violates another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other rights.
• Attempt to bypass access controls, payment requirements, or security measures.
• Interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, scrape private data, or test vulnerabilities without written permission.
• Use another person’s account or invitation link without authorization.

7. Pricing and payment

Account registration is free. One event workspace currently costs $9.99 and includes 12 months of full editing access beginning when the workspace is created after a successful payment. There is no monthly subscription and no recurring charge. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change for future purchases, but a price change will not retroactively change a completed purchase.

8. Access period and view-only mode

The 12-month editing period begins when the workspace is created after a successful payment. The event name is fixed after the workspace is created. During the active editing period, the owner may change the event date and location as often as needed, but those changes do not restart or extend the 12-month period. After the editing period ends, the workspace changes to view-only mode. The owner may review saved information but may not add, edit, or delete workspace content. The expired workspace cannot be renewed or reactivated. Any later purchase creates a separate new workspace and does not extend the expired workspace. View-only access is not guaranteed permanent archival storage, so users should keep copies of especially important information.

9. Service availability

We work to keep HL Event Circle available, but uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, hosting issues, Internet failures, or circumstances outside our control. You are encouraged to keep copies of especially important event information.

10. Suspension or termination

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, respond to fraud or security concerns, comply with law, or address a serious violation of these terms. When practical, we will attempt to provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

11. Disclaimer

HL Event Circle is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will meet every planning need, prevent every error, or ensure that team members or vendors complete assigned work. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HL Event Circle and H Lu Ventures LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or event-related costs arising from use of or inability to use the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability related to a paid workspace will not exceed the amount paid for that workspace, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer-protection law requires another result.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after the updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.

1. Workspace purchase and access period

The current price is $9.99 for one event workspace with 12 months of full editing access. This is not a monthly subscription and there is no recurring charge. After 12 months, the workspace changes to view-only mode and cannot be renewed or reactivated. Any later purchase creates a separate new event workspace and is treated as a separate digital purchase.

2. One workspace per purchase

Each payment creates a separate event workspace. The event name cannot be changed after the workspace is created. During the 12-month editing period, the owner may change the event date and location as often as needed. Changing those details does not restart or extend the access period. A later payment creates a new workspace and does not restore editing access to an expired workspace.

3. General refund rule

Because access to the digital event workspace is delivered immediately after a successful payment, purchases are generally final and nonrefundable once the workspace has been created.

4. Situations we will review

We will review refund requests involving:

• A duplicate charge for the same intended purchase.
• An unauthorized or fraudulent charge reported by the account holder.
• A verified technical failure that prevents access to the purchased workspace and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.
• Any refund required by applicable law.

5. How to request help

Email hello@hleventcircle.com with the account email, purchase date, event workspace name, and a short description of the issue. Please do not send full payment-card information by email.

6. Approved refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may depend on Stripe, your bank, or your card issuer. Access to the refunded workspace may be disabled after the refund is completed.
